I like to take my time to ensure my patients experience the best possible results and because

I truly enjoy striving to make a remarkable difference, without anyone knowing I've been

at any given place surgically.

It's never been about being the biggest, my

focus has always been on delivering impeccable results... results I can be proud of.

Dr. Cynthia D. Gray
Board Certified Plastic &
 Reconstructive Surgeon

A Little About Dr. Gray...

Cynthia was born in Guadalajara, Mexico and relocated with her parents to the Pacific Northwest where her father chose to establish a family medical practice.  She was raised, along with seven siblings, in the Vancouver, Washington and Portland, Oregon area and has remained here ever since.

Her father went on to become a leading family practitioner, and a role model for Cynthia and other local physicians/surgeons like her, who share the philosophy of effective patient-focused results.  A quiet culture of exceptional physicians and surgeons solely focused, from start-to-finish, on exceeding expectations and achieving the best results possible for each individual patient.  Physicians and surgeons not out to be "the biggest" but rather, to be considered among "the best plastic and reconstructive surgeons" in their field.

Cynthia’s extensive training includes the specialized study of plastic surgery at The Royal University Hospital of Saskatchewan, Canada, along with Board Certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery.  Over the span of the 27 years (since 1991), Cynthia has been performing plastic and reconstructive surgery procedures in the Vancouver/Portland metro area and has thousands of satisfied patients behind her.  Cynthia's exceptional professional reputation, commitment to best practices, attention to detail and impeccable results establishes that she is uniquely qualified to consult with you on your interest in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery, and to perform your next procedure.

Reconstructive surgery sometimes associated with radical efforts to stop the spread of cancer eventually became a passion of Cynthia's and an area of her expertise and as such, she's become a driving force behind bringing some of the latest reconstruction advancements to breast cancer patients in the Vancouver and Portland area.

In 1998 Cynthia's mother Janet succumbed to cancer, and her father followed shortly after  in 2001, from cancer, as well.  Dr. Gray's commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of as many cancer treatment patients as she can, provides Cynthia with a tremendous amount of satisfaction.

Dr. Gray and the team of professionals she's chosen to surround herself with, approach the practice from the same "big picture" lens and view each and every patient as "walking billboards" and as such, they take great care when formulating customized enhancement and surgical strategies, with the goal of achieving the best possible outcome, for each of the practice's individual patients.

Cynthia believes that the best results in plastic and reconstructive surgery come when a surgeon takes her/his time. And Cynthia believes that no two procedures should ever be approached as being the same.  Dr. Gray and her team of professionals know from experience, that there are just too many variables.

By investing in state-of-the-art surgical and laser technology to ensure exceptional results for her patients, keeping abreast of the latest plastic & reconstructive surgery and age rejuvenation advancements, on-going participation in cutting-edge education targeted at plastic and reconstructive surgeons, and seeking to work hands-on and/or observe some of the industry's most renowned specialists in their fields, Dr. Gray has demonstrated to thousands of patients that practice does make perfect.

These are just a few of the many philosophies that differentiate Cynthia and her team of professionals, in an extremely competitive field.
